Middlesex University Graphic Design Students visit the Louvre, Abu Dhabi
- Saturday, 2 December 2017
Middlesex University Dubai’s first year Graphic Design students made their second cultural visit of the semester earlier this week, where they were taken to see the new Louvre museum in Abu Dhabi. A contemporary architectural masterpiece, the museum houses a significant collection of artefacts, sculpture and painting, which assisted the students in their understanding of the development of many art and design movements. Highlights of the visit included being able to see – for the first time in the UAE – works by Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Edouard Manet, Paul Gaugin, Rene Magritte and Piet Mondrian.
