Middlesex University Dubai appreciates its team of Student Learning Assistants!

  • Tuesday, 17 April 2018

Middlesex University Dubai’s Student Learning Assistant (SLA) Programme has been running successfully for the past 5 years and this year saw a record number of 56 SLAs being inducted into the scheme. The SLAs are extremely motivated and high achieving students who are nominated by their Lecturers and work alongside them in the classroom to provide invaluable support to their peers.

The Centre for Academic Success organised an event to acknowledge and celebrate the brilliant achievements of the SLAs for the 2017-18 academic year. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Cedwyn Fernandes, Director of Middlesex University Dubai, congratulated the SLAs on the wonderful contribution they had made. He referred to studies which highlight the undeniable benefits of peer to peer learning and hoped that current SLAs would continue to share their knowledge and expertise with their fellow students.

Congratulations to all of those involved on their hard work and dedication!
