We have links with a number of excellent employers and a dedicated team of advisers in the Employability Centre who are on hand to provide information on how to secure work experience or volunteering that will benefit you in finding work after you graduate, either in Dubai or in your home country.
All vacancies, many of which are sourced specifically for Middlesex University Dubai students are advertised through our Employability Centre. You can also access a range of employability resources, register to receive email job alerts and get support in applying for any vacancy you are interested in, including international opportunities.
Developing skills for the workplace
Our Employability Centre is dedicated to helping you develop the vital skills needed to stand out when applying for graduate jobs. The centre offers a wide range of services to help you gain transferable skills, obtain vital work experience, and help you take the relevant steps needed to secure your dream job.
Employers often look for a number of different employability skills when looking to hire someone. A positive attitude is key, as is a readiness to take part, openness to new ideas and activities, and a desire to learn and achieve results.

Our services include both office-based support, seminars, workshops and online resources to enable you to make the most of the information available to you. Throughout the year, the University also holds on-campus job and employment events that are attended by employers, trade associations and professional bodies.
