Middlesex University Dubai celebrates UN’s WORLD FOOD DAY!

The MDX Baking Club, together with the Student Council hosted a wonderful picnic event at The Residences, where student amateur Chefs prepared and served food for International students, in celebration of the UN’s World Food Day.
On this wonderful afternoon, filled with sumptuous sweet and savoury dishes from 5 continents, 15 of our talented students cooked and served food to around 250 international students, mostly based at our dormitory.
This event taught our students some important UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, such as the Improved Nutrition, Promoting Wellbeing and Sustainable Consumption.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
The month of February kicked off with an immersive field trip to enrich the student experience at the AI Film Festival at Expo City Dubai
In March, both the third-year January cohort and first-year September cohort students embarked on a field trip to explore the UAE Innovates Exhibition and the DHL Innovation Hub
