Middlesex University Dubai’s ‘Night of the Performing Arts’

Middlesex University Dubai recently hosted its ‘Night of the Performing Arts’ at The Residences, an event organised as a joint collaboration between the Music, Poetry and Drama Clubs.
Stage pieces ranging from spoken word, drama, band and solo performances took place during the evening, with the aim of enabling our international students to feel closer to home.
The event was a great success and our students remarked how refreshing it was to see the abundance of talent and creativity that their peers possess.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
The month of February kicked off with an immersive field trip to enrich the student experience at the AI Film Festival at Expo City Dubai
In March, both the third-year January cohort and first-year September cohort students embarked on a field trip to explore the UAE Innovates Exhibition and the DHL Innovation Hub
