Team Middlesex reach the finals of The Dubai Inter School League!

The Dubai Inter School League (DISL) reached its final stage last week with an incredible outcome for our very own Team Middlesex! Our male and female Basketball Team, along with our male Volleyball Team are through to the finals of this five month long competition!

DISL is a sister brand of the Abu Dhabi Inter School League, founded two years ago in the capital. The Dubai addition of this sporting alliance is a result of collaboration between the sports departments of Middlesex University and 5 other campuses. Our Basketball Coach, Slavko Micanovic, played a leading role in creating the league’s structure. We are delighted to be a founding member of this competition and to have our teams competing for gold in this opening year.

The final will be held on 28 February 2018 in Dubai International Academic City – good luck Team Middlesex!!

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
