Annual Media Speed Networking Event 2018

Middlesex University Dubai’s Media Department, in collaboration with the Office of Careers & Employability, organised the Annual Media Speed Networking event on Wednesday 28 February 2018 for all current students.
An array of industry professionals interacted with our students, including Nakheel, Brazen PR, Lovin Dubai, Anantara Abu Dhabi, granting them a terrific opportunity to network and understand the requirements of the corporate world. Many of these employers have already or will soon be offering internship opportunities to our students, as well as job contacts and career placements in the days and months to come.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
The month of February kicked off with an immersive field trip to enrich the student experience at the AI Film Festival at Expo City Dubai
