Youth Festival 2018: Day Two

  • Tuesday, 13 March 2018

The second day of Middlesex University Dubai’s Annual Youth Festival saw students taking part in a range of different competitions, including painting, music, billiards and volleyball.

Students took part in the Pebble Saga Contest where they were encouraged to express their emotions and creativity through painting a series of pebble stones which were then judged by renowned Dubai based artist, Ms Dina Saadi.

The semi-finals of the music competition took place with the judging panel of four Middlesex University Dubai staff facing a tough decision of selecting the best singers to perform on the main stage at the DUCTAC Theatre, Mall of the Emirates, later this month.

60 participants were involved in the billiards competition which took place at the popular Flamingo Billiards Club. Congratulations to Mustafa Dalal who has been crowned Youth Festival 2018 Champion within the billiards category!

The day came to a close with volleyball at JBS, with 6 teams and over 40 participants taking part in the action.

Middlesex University Dubai students supported by Middlesex Innovation Hub participated in the TiE-U 2024 GCC/UAE Final Pitch Competition.
