Dr Tenia Kyriazi is a Deputy Director of Middlesex University Dubai, an Associate Professor of Law and Senior Fellow at the Higher Education Academy, UK. Dr Tenia completed her Undergraduate & Postgraduate studies in Law in Greece and the UK before qualifying as an attorney in Athens. She is currently the Head of Law and Politics Programmes and the Chair of the Teaching and Learning Committee at the University. Dr Tenia’s areas of teaching include EU Law, Public International Law and Human Rights Law and she is passionate about exploring innovative strategies to promote student learning and to develop collaborations that bridge academia with practice. Through her research, publications, project and consultative work, which inform her teaching practice, she examines issues of international human rights law, mostly relating to education, gender, migration and trafficking in human beings.
