Guest Speaker Session - Know from the Expert

A guest speaker session was held on 5th December 2018 at Middlesex University Dubai. During the event, industry experts discussed their experiences, knowledge and expertise around communications planning, processes involved in planning a campaign from start to finish thus giving the students a holistic view of the process. Students were able to understand how the planning process applies to real world campaigns. The event helped the students to do their final assessment in which they had to produce a communications plan using an augmented reality-based application.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
