Psychology Students Display Their Research

Second and third year psychology students recently presented their collaborative research projects in the form of academic posters. The opportunity allowed them to practice their research presentation skills before stepping into the world of academic conferences. Presentations were on a range of topics including; social media and psychological health, optimism bias, female expat entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural friendships. Faculty members and fellow students came by to offer their support and ask questions about their research. Well done to all of those who participated!

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
