A Senior Associate at the Financial Crime Department of Al Tamimi & Co, Osama daneshyar delivered a guest lecture to MDX students at 8:30 am on the 10th of February 2019. He shared his experience as a Barrister and spoke about his studies, his time at the bar and his current employment at Al Tamimi. Mr. Osama spoke about International Practice, Crime and Human Right. The students got a clear picture of the efforts required to become a barrister. They asked questions about challenges he faced as a barrister and how he overcame them.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
