  • Monday, 4 March 2019

Students on Middlesex University Dubai’s prestigious MSc Corporate Marketing Communications and MSc Strategic Marketing programmes attended interactive sessions given by top industry professionals of the region at the “Off-Site Experience” which took place at Hotel Kempinski, Mall of the Emirates Dubai.

The opening session started with a presentation by Phil Bedford, Master Franchise GCC for Assentiv Marketing and Management consultancy, whose highly interactive and engaging session was based on personal branding and networking to make positive impact.

This next session was by Kris Barber, who is the CEO & Founder of DGrade. He spoke on the formation and branding of his company since 2010 which is very unique in the region as they produce high quality clothing from recycled plastic bottles.

Campus Programme Coordinator, Dr Vijay Pujari stated that “The MSc Marketing team is keen to get industry experts to engage with the students and this event sees well over a century of marketing excellence showcased in a matter of hours. Ultimately, there is an assessment based on the day but those present gain immeasurably from interacting with leading lights in the local marketing and entrepreneurial community”.
