MBA Students Complete Leadership and Team Development Workshop

  • Thursday, 24 October 2019

Over the last two weekends, our new MBA cohort completed the first of 8 Applied Learning Experiences (ALEs) and Executive Skill Development (ESDs) workshops of which complement the Middlesex University Dubai MBA programme. The workshops aim to establish and develop interpersonal and group relationships as well as to encourage the networking process. The weekend was run by Kathleen Harrison-Carroll and Alan Birkett of Katalan (UK) Limited who have a longstanding and valued relationship with the University.

MBA Campus Programme Coordinator, Dr Alun Epps, explained: “This ALE really sets the scene for the other workshops and the MBA as a whole. The final ALE for this intake of students will be an international field trip in 2021 which is the real jewel in the MBA crown, so to speak. Our students have previously visited Paris, Milan and Shanghai for a week to study the global and luxury fashion industries.”

Applications are now open for the January 2020 intake. Candidates studying for the MBA in January can complete their degree in an accelerated 18 month period. You can find out more at www.mdx.ac.ae/january2020.
