Make a Career Plan

Identify your career options by examining your interests, skills and values. Narrow your career options by collecting information from companies and professionals in the industry.

Try out various opportunities to understand the career you have chosen.

During your tenure of study, try hands on experiences such as job shadowing, volunteering and internships to understand your chosen career and learn if this the choice for you.

Take initiative

Today's career requirements are highly developed and require much more than someone who won't take risks. In today's competitive career landscape, employers are looking for individuals who are proactive, can bring fresh ideas to the table and take initiative, start new projects, pitch new solutions and create new opportunities for the business. Be an individual that creates opportunity for self rather than waiting for an opportunity to come to you.
