WHO WILL I BE TAUGHT BY?
Following a career in law, spanning ten years, Nicola Crowther turned to mediation in 2010 and established Crowther Mediation UK in 2014. Crowther Mediation is now the largest independent mediation practice in the North of England, providing mediation in civil, commercial, family and workplace disputes. In 2022 Nicola went on to establish Crowther Mediation UAE, the first independent UK mediation practice in the UAE.
Having taught mediators all over the world, Crowther Mediation received recognition from the CMC UK and IMI for delivering Civil and Commercial Mediation in 2023. Crowther Mediation now teach the foundation training programme in universities in the UK, UAE, Singapore and Germany.
The programme adheres to the European Code of Conduct for Mediators.
Under Civil Mediation Council rules the training course can only be delivered in small batches of 1:6 trainer: delegate ratio. This is to ensure all delegates are given the best possible opportunity to maximise their learning potential and achieve successful outcomes. At least 50% of the course must be roleplays and these must be observed and coached by the trainer.
PROGRAMME DELIVERY
The programme will be delivered online and in person. The full schedule will be published closer to when the programme commences.
