Congratulations, Class of 2024!

You’ve done it! You should be incredibly proud of all you have achieved as an MDX Dubai student. It’s time to start looking forward to your graduation ceremony.

This year, our ceremonies will be in February to respect the timings of Ramadan 2025. We can’t wait to see you walk across the stage and receive your hard-earned UK degree. This is your moment!

For the first time, our ceremonies will take place in the stunning Atlantis The Palm hotel - the most iconic backdrop for your cap and gown photos!

We will let you know via email which ceremony you will be in, and when tickets are available for purchase. Watch this space!

Combined graduate plus guest ticket packages are subject to availability and will be sold on a first come first served basis. Please note that children below the age of 4 years old accompanying their family can enter the graduation ceremony for free but will not be allocated a seat.

 

How to purchase your tickets

Once tickets are available to purchase, we will let you know via email. You can pay for your tickets using the following methods, please note that once tickets have been purchased, they are non-refundable.

 

Finance Office, Dubai Knowledge Park

You can pay for your tickets in the Finance Office in Block 16, Dubai Knowledge Park  through cash by depositing in cash deposit machine (CDM), or by card over the counter. Please ensure that you deposit the exact amount in the CDM, as the machine will not process any balance amount.

Graduates or their family members must have the graduate's full name, MISIS number and email address available when making their purchase.

When you collect your ticket, please show your payment receipt.

MDX Online Payment Portal

You can pay online using the payment portal on the university website.

Please ensure you reference the graduate’s full name, MISIS number and email address when paying.

Under MDX Fee Types, please select ‘Other’ and then tick ‘Graduation’ on the payment portal when filling out the payment form.

Please note that when you pay online, it will take 48 hours or 2 working days for your payment to reflect on our records. Only after we have received notification that you have paid, we can issue you with your tickets.

How to collect your tickets

Once you have purchased your tickets, you can collect your tickets and graduation package from outside the Marketing Office on the 3rd Floor, Block 16, Dubai Knowledge Park during these times:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8AM to 6.30PM
  • Friday: 8AM to 5PM

You will receive the following items in your graduation package:

  • Number of graduate and guest tickets purchased
  • Your cap, gown, and scarf to wear during your ceremony
  • A laminated card with your name and programme printed on it – please do not lose this card, as you will need to bring this with you on the day of your graduation ceremony

If you’re an international graduate travelling from abroad to attend the ceremony, you may collect tickets, cap, gown, and scarf from the Dubai Knowledge Park campus when you land a few days before the event.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE

Please remember that communications about the Graduation for Class of 2024 are provided for planning purposes and are in no way confirmation of the completion of your degree. An invitation to attend a ceremony cannot be considered as evidence that you have met all the requirements of your degree programmes or have graduated. Some of our students may receive information about Graduation for Class of 2024 and may be able to attend the celebrations alongside their fellow students but will not have completed all the requirements for successfully completing their degree programme (if, for example, they have pending grades for dissertations or have some deferred assessments due to extenuating circumstances).

All finalist students, including those that will not have completed all the requirements for successfully completing their degree programme as outlined above, will have their full names published in our ceremony proceedings and related documents (print and digital). Similarly, all finalist students, including those that will not have completed all the requirements for successfully completing their degree programme as outlined above, will have the opportunity to participate in these celebratory ceremonies, to purchase official graduation robes and take part in the event photography. It is important to note that attending a ceremony, having your name appear in the ceremony proceedings or related documents (print or digital), purchasing graduation gowns or taking part in event photography cannot be considered as evidence that you have met all the requirements of your degree programmes or have graduated.
