MDX Dubai's MUN Society takes home four prizes at 16th Annual Model United Nations Conference in Sharjah

Our Model United Nations (MUN) Society recently attended the 16th Annual Model United Nations Conference at American University Sharjah (AUS) from 3rd - 5th February 2023.
A grand total of 15 of our students spent days researching and debating a range of global issues, with Middlesex University Dubai winning 4 awards in total, including 3 top prizes. Congratulations to:
- Thenura Vichakshana Samararatne – Top Delegate General Assembly 4
- Navneeth Nair - Top Delegate General Assembly 3
- Faaria Sadiq – Outstanding Delegate Peace Building Commission
- Zaara Noelle - Best Researcher International Court of Justice
Over 1,000 students from high schools and universities in the UAE and in the wider region participated in what was AUS’s biggest MUN. We would like to wish a huge congratulations to the whole team who represented MDX Dubai:
