MDX English language tests

Supporting your journey to MDX

As part of your application, you may be required to fulfil an English Language condition. To make this easier for you, Middlesex University Dubai has an internal test that is available for all students who are in receipt of an offer letter for an upcoming intake.

To apply for the MDX English Language test, you can simply register on the form. The English Language team will support you through the process and ensure you understand everything clearly to be as prepared as possible.

THE TEST

The English language test is split into four components.

Listening
1 Hour

Speaking
30 Minutes

Writing
1 Hour

Reading
1 Hour

Test Dates

For our September 2025 intake the English Language Test will take place on the following dates:

  • 18th July
  • 22nd August
  • 29th August
  • 10th September
  • 26th September

Cost

The cost for all components is:

AED 495/USD 135*

All payments must be made in advance of the date of your test.

* Please note that English Test fees are non-refundable and for no-shows the English Test fee will not be carried over to the next test date.
