- Friday, 7 March 2025
Accounting and Finance students from Middlesex University (MDX) Dubai secured a top two spot in the annual Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Research Challenge.
The Emirates 2025 challenge final took place on 23 February and tasked university students from across the UAE with analysing a publicly traded company, creating a detailed equity research report, and presenting their findings to a panel of industry experts.
The MDX Dubai team, consisting of Ashber Bastian, Amritaa Selvaraj, Chanchal Nathani, Himanshu Kimtani, and Chirag Prakash Kherajani, demonstrated exceptional skill and determination throughout the competition.
Over the last five months, the team dedicated themselves to creating a comprehensive 10-page equity report, delivering a 10-minute presentation, and navigating a rigorous Q&A session.
Their hard work and commitment earned high praise from industry judges and the CFA leadership team.
The challenge offered students a unique opportunity to develop critical financial analysis, research, and presentation skills, while also fostering collaboration between academic institutions and the finance industry.
