UAE Sustainability Championship Pitch Competition 2025 Allows MDX Business Students to Shine

We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievement of our undergraduate Business students at the UAE Sustainability Championship Pitch Competition 2025, which took place on 9 May 2025 at S P Jain School of Global Management in Dubai. This exciting inter-university event gathered student changemakers from across the UAE, all presenting innovative solutions that align with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Out of the 56 teams that participated, three teams from MDX secured spots in the top 20; an impressive achievement in a highly competitive event. Not only did these teams standout, but two of them secured spots in the final four, with one team winning 1st prize (AED 5,000) and another team securing 4th prize (AED 1,000).
What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is the fact that all participating students are active members of our Biodiversity and Wildlife Conservation Community (BWCC). Their success reflects their strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, tightly aligning with the goals of the competition.
The 4th prize-winning team was composed of first-year students who completed the International Foundation Programme (IFP). Competing against engineering undergraduate and postgraduate teams, these students showed incredible drive and determination, demonstrating that creativity and innovation can come from all disciplines.
We are incredibly proud of our students and their dedication to driving positive change for a more sustainable future.
