What is the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)?
The PTES is a survey run by the Higher Education Academy on behalf of many UK universities. It provides students with the opportunity to provide valuable feedback that can lead to enhancements in their learning and teaching. The survey is completely anonymous, and the results will highlight what we're doing right at Middlesex, as well as identifying the key areas where you think we could improve.
When does the 2019 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) start?
All Postgraduate students across Middlesex University Dubai campus can complete the PTES from 24 April 2019 onwards.
How do I take part?
Eligible students will be sent an invitation email to complete the survey on their Middlesex University student email account (for example, firstname.lastname@example.org, where xx are your initials, and nnn is a number generated by the system). The email will include a unique link to the survey – please do not share this link with others. You can complete the PTES online through a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
How long does the PTES run for?
The PTES will remain open until 10 May 2019.
What overall response rate is Middlesex Dubai aiming for this year?
We are aiming for at least 85% response rate from all eligible students.
The results of the survey are intended to be made publicly available to inform prospective students about where and what to study. To be able to publish the results, each campus and each programme needs to achieve minimum response rates.
Who runs the survey?
The survey is run by the Higher Education Academy at Middlesex University on behalf of all campuses.
