In my Rebirth collection, I’ve streamlined the arduous process through collaboration with Emergency Room Beirut. My focus lies in exploring diverse garment textures and embracing recyclable options, particularly through natural dyeing, sustainable fabrics, and upcycling. This collection encapsulates the journey of overcoming trauma; from the initial suffocation and struggle to break free, to the transformative realisation that one’s strength lies within. Each piece symbolises resilience, embodying the stages of trauma and the empowering journey towards self-discovery and acceptance. It’s about embracing one’s individuality and recognising the inherent power within, a testament to the beauty that arises from adversity and the rebirth that follows.
