Dr Ilham Sebah

Biography

Dr Ilham Sebah holds a PhD in Psychology from Greenwich University and a MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from King’s College London. She is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology specialising in the field of resilience and wellbeing. 

Her PhD research involved the development of a resilience intervention for students in Higher Education (The Resilience Enhancement Programme ©) and her postdoctoral fellowship extended this research into the medical field, working alongside junior doctors, consultants and GPs. Her breadth of experience and expertise in resilience has led to contributions in both the public and private sectors, including publications, science communication and consultancy.

Dr Sebah teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and covers a broad range of areas in Psychology. Her research interests include health psychology, wellbeing, resilience and the development and evaluation of interventions.
