Dr Vijaya Kumar

Biography

Dr Vijaya holds a PhD in Financial Management from Banasthali University (India), an MPhil in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University (India) and a MCom in Commerce from Madras University (India) and has over two decades of experience in Higher Education in UAE. 

Her research interests are driven by her passion in the field of banking and finance, higher education, corporate social responsibility and supply chain management. She has won several awards for innovation in teaching and student-centered learning. However, her passion is to promote the development of the student community. She is extensively involved in mentoring and guiding students for case study competitions at the regional and global level, which provides an opportunity for students to use their management and finance skills in a real-life situation; and her hard work has been recognized through several awards from internal and external professional bodies in UAE.
