Annual Careers Fair Festival Connects Students With Top Employers

Dedicated to making students fully employable, Middlesex University (MDX) Dubai's Careers and Employability Services (CES) Team proudly hosted the annual Careers Fair last week.
Organised by CES, in collaboration with academic departments, more than 1900 students and recent alumni attended the two-day event, held at the Two Seasons Hotel, Dubai Internet City, on 12 and 13 February.
The festival attracted more than 200 leading employers, including Virgin, Apparel Group, Nestle, Shangri-La, Samsung, Hilton, Bridgestone and many more.
- Students had the chance to explore internships, part-time, and full-time job opportunities.
- The festival also provided invaluable opportunities for attendees to:
- Develop employability skills through professional networking
- Gain insights into different industries
- Learn directly from employers about the essential skills for career success
- Connect with MDX Dubai alumni who have successfully transitioned into professional roles
- Discover the extensive support available through CES and other university services
In the weeks leading up to the event, the university also hosted a series of masterclasses led by industry giants like Edelman, Mars, and IBM. Students were able to gain exclusive insights into industry trends, best practices, and essential skills to boost their employability and stand out in the job market.
The Careers Fair represents a crucial step in the university’s mission to ensure graduates are 100% employable and to empower them to put their knowledge into practice.
