Team NABTA, comprising Kiyara Weerakoon, Farhan Mohammed Mansoor, Mohamed Zaid Mohamed Faris, Satwick Mishra, and Akshvin Uthesh, clinched first place for their advanced concept of a Unified Platform for Climate Action, a project designed to address pressing environmental issues with scalable solutions.
The event was supported by the contributions of the experienced judging panel including Iresha Maduwanthi, Assistant Operations Manager, Al Futtaim Logistics; Salah Chebaro, CEO, Neelwafurat; and Dr Engie Bashir, Senior CEI Lecturer, MDX Dubai, whose insights enhanced the experience for all participants, turning it into a valuable learning opportunity, as well as a competition.Special thanks go out to Al Futtaim Logistics for sponsoring the prizes awarded to the winning team.
The MIH continues to play a crucial role in helping students bring their ideas to larger platforms, providing opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration with industry leaders. It is the central community on campus for all education and research initiatives related to innovation and entrepreneurship, boosting students’ employability.
