
MDX Dubai and MEACA Sign MoU, Building a Culture of Compliance

Middlesex University (MDX) Dubai is thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Middle East & Africa Compliance Association (MEACA).
This agreement, formalised in a ceremony at the university’s Dubai Knowledge Park campus with Board Co-Chair Elvis Angyiembe and board member, Sabrine Makkes in attendance.
MEACA, a not-for-profit organisation, is dedicated to catalysing ethical practices and empowering compliance practitioners and regulators. With a vision to enhance the understanding of good governance and compliance within private and public sectors alike.
This partnership focuses on providing valuable educational opportunities for MDX Dubai students interested in compliance and regulation.
The MoU will facilitate a series of seminars, providing industry updates from experts in the field of legal and compliance. In addition MEACA will showcase panel discussions, offer tailored mentorship programs and give career advice to students.
Yasmin Sebah, Senior Law Lecturer, expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration: “Partnering with MEACA is a significant step in our commitment to preparing students for careers in compliance. This initiative will enhance their learning experiences and empower them to make meaningful contributions in the field.”
