Staff and students from Middlesex University London, Mauritius, and Dubai joined forces for an exciting 24-hour cycling challenge.
Between 2pm on 19 February and 2pm on 20 February each campus attempted to reach a target of 2025km, cycling on four stationary bikes.
The event, which was streamed live across the three countries, featured staff and students taking turns cycling, including throughout the night.
All three campuses managed to achieve the goal, with Middlesex University (MDX) Dubai surpassed the target, cycling an impressive 2031.33km.
Slavko Micanovic, Student Activities Manager, MDX Dubai said: “This challenge was about more than just physical effort - it's about uniting our global community for a common purpose.
“The dedication and teamwork from all riders have been inspiring, it’s amazing to see how everyone is pushing themselves to make this event a success.
“Special congratulations to Gabriele Poniskaityte who completed the highest individual total of 121.7km.”
