Kick off your University Journey in style!
The legendary MDX Dubai Week of Welcome is back from Monday 13 January to Friday 17 January at Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City.
We'll kick off the new term with exciting social activities, entertainment from fellow talented students, and workshops for you to participate in! You can meet some of our sports captains and social club coordinators, and start signing up to be part of the action!
Whether you’re new to the university or returning to campus for another year, everyone is welcome to mingle, meet new friends, and enjoy the activities!
Your Week of Welcome Academic Timetable
Week of Welcome is what we consider Week 0 of your academic timetable. During Week of Welcome (Week 0) you will have a specialised timetable to help you settle into your new programme. You will meet your faculty, connect with your classmates, and familiarise yourself with campus.
Your regular academic timetable will begin from Monday 20 January 2025.

Transport
There is a shuttle bus that runs between The Myriad Accommodation, Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) and Dubai Knowledge Park (DKP) including during Week of Welcome. Please see the timetable here for more details.
We also offer a complimentary Metro Shuttle bus that will collect you from the nearest metro station (Internet City Metro Station) and bring you to the DKP campus. You can find the timings here.
