UAE laws require all non-national students to obtain a Student Visa for the duration of their studies. We provide Student Visas for applicants studying on all our academic programmes.
Student visas are issued for duration of 12 months at a time, which depending on your course you may need to renew. For example, if you’re an Undergraduate student, you may require 2 or 3 visa renewals during your course of study.
You need to apply as early as possible if you require a Student Visa. The process normally takes 15-20 days. Applications typically undergo a security check by UAE government authorities (which may occasionally result in delays beyond the control of Middlesex University Dubai).
Get support with your visa application
Don’t worry! The process of applying for your UAE Student Visa is simple, and we’re here to help you. Contact our Visa team at [email protected] or by calling +971 (0)4 367 1682 or visit the Student Support Hub for assistance.
Yon can only apply for your UAE Student Visa once you have:
- Accepted your Offer of Admission
- Cleared all academic conditions according to your individual offer (if any)
- Paid your tuition fees, along with the Student Visa annual fee and visa deposit
To avoid a delay in your application, you need to ensure that all documents required for your Student Visa application are complete.
In the unlikely event that a student’s visa application is unsuccessful, the visa deposit will be refunded. The UAE government may retain the annual visa fee.
Visit our Visa page to view all costs and which documents you need to submit with your application.
