The Middlesex University Dubai Library is a central hub of the University, where you are guaranteed to be spending a lot of time, making valuable use of the vast number of resources and study spaces available!

Did you know the Library has much more to offer to you as a knowledge resource?

The Library is located in Block 15 on the third floor and is open from Monday-Friday from 8AM to 8PM and on Saturdays from 9AM to 6PM. All students can access a wide range of free services, in addition to the vast print and digital academic resources available.

Here is more information about just some of them.

Introduction to the Research Process – Free online course

The Library offers a free online ‘Introduction to the Research Process’ course, which introduces the five steps of the research process and can assist you with building the knowledge you need to get started on an essay, presentation, or research project. This course is free and entirely online, and students who complete it will receive a certificate.

Requesting a Library book for DIAC students

The Library is happy to serve students at the Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) campus. If you require a book from Dubai Knowledge Park (DKP), you may request it from our DKP location, and it will be transported to the DIAC campus for you to collect.

Searching for digital resources

The eBooks of your core texts are available within Library Search for your convenience.

Library Skills Focus Workshops

The Library provides ‘Skills Focus’ workshops throughout the term (at 1pm and 6pm on the scheduled date to best serve our Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate students) that cover a variety of research and study topics!

These co-curricular workshops have been designed for students of all levels and disciplines to complement and enhance your academic studies. Additionally, these now include sessions by the Centre for Academic Success. To attend, please register and reserve your virtual spot.

Triple A

The Library encourages students to take advantage of Triple A, an interactive resource that has been designed to assess and compare levels of confidence versus actual academic skills. This tool can assist students in identifying areas they can focus on improving to increase their academic success.
