Arshiya Munir

Biography

Arshiya has a strong foundation in legal practice and demonstrates a keen passion for legal education. With over four years of practice experience in both private practice and in-house roles, she introduces work-based skills into her teaching practice. In her previous role, Arshiya engaged extensively with UAE regulatory frameworks and worked on high-profile cases across various practice areas, including shipping, litigation, corporate, commercial, and real estate. These experiences have equipped her with the expertise to deliver comprehensive legal education and support the growth of aspiring legal professionals.

Arshiya teaches on the Foundation, Undergraduate Law and Politics, and Undergraduate Accountancy & Finance programs. In 2024, she was part of the team that received the Teaching and Learning Innovation award, recognising her dedication to enhancing employability for future lawyers. Her teaching expertise include European Union Law, Tort Law, Business Law, Employment Law, Equality and the law and Legal Method.
